Lilah had a fun time at the Easter Egg hunt. She was especially excited about the eggs in her basket.

Family Fun

We had a great Easter with our family yesterday! Here are some pictures to document the day. Chris took some better ones of Lilah, but these are more the action shots from non-photographer of the family.

She kind of liked the Easter Basket experience, until we wouldn’t let her have the goldfish crackers and cookies that she got in there for breakfast….that made her sad.

She loved her Easter Basket from Grammy and Pappy. She wasted no time getting into the lollipop. Don’t worry, we did take the wrapper off. She looks like such a big girl in her Easter dress.

Her Cousins Ryan, Grant, Colby and Kason loved their Easter Baskets too.

She did great hunting Easter Eggs!

But not as great during the Cousin Photo shoot. This was the second set of pictures that day and thankfully she was a little more cheery in the first set.

And finally, fun was had by all at the water table! They love playing with each other and dumping water on themselves. If you can see Lilah’s hair, she has about 4 pigtails, it was our first attempt at a ponytail of sorts. She still looks adorable, but we need her hair to get a little longer before we can go out in public wearing them.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year……Baseball!

In our family, lead by Chris of course, baseball season is a big deal and spring training has begun.

Chris bought this shirt for Lilah when I was just a few months pregnant and we didn’t even know that she was a girl. He’s waiting on the day she could wear it and that day has come! Happy Baseball Season from the Susi Family!

Thanksgiving…Christmas…and now it’s January!

I have been really bad about updating pictures on here. I keep saying, “I’ll do it this weekend” and I keep not doing it over the weekend.

She is 16 months old now, she is walking, talking and learning new things each day. She is constantly busy doing something and moves from one thing to the next as quickly as I do. She loves flipping through books, playing with her toys, closing the bathroom door while she is in there alone and all kinds of other fun things. She is about to start attending a Parent’s Day Out Program on Monday and Fridays from 9am-2pm. This is going to be great for Lilah to get some social interaction and just to get out of the house a little. And now, Chris can have some time other than during nap time and the evenings to do his work.

I am out of town on a quick trip to our YouthWorks site on the Eastern Shore of Virgina, and I got this really cute picture of Lilah. It was 60 in Nashville today and she got to go play outside in her PJs with her dad.

I’ll play catch up soon on other pictures and videos, maybe I’ll even do it this weekend:).

And a few months later……

We have had lots going on. We moved to Nashville, Lilah turned 1, we’ve been traveling and just trying to settle down a bit.

I don’t have time to write a ton today, but at least wanted to post some fun pictures. Here are some highlights from the past few months.

Lilah got to go to her first fair in August, she enjoyed herself and got to try a few of the fun fair foods.

We also went to Cleveland, OH and Lilah got to enjoy her first Indians Baseball Game. We didn’t get a ton of great pictures, but here are a few.

Lilah started giving her baby “hugs and kisses”

Lilah Turned 1! We had a really fun birthday party for her with lots of family and friends. She is getting close to walking, but she isn’t quite there yet. She baby talks all the time, but isn’t saying too many words yet. Every once in a while she will repeat us, which has been cute. Here are some pictures from her birthday and party.

I had pictures of her hanging up from the year and from each month. We highlighted some of the fun things she did this year. And my mom and I made this awesome reusable Happy Birthday sign.

She loved her Birthday cake and sharing it with others.

And we also got to go to Missouri to meet her new cousin Kason who was born at the beginning of September. She loved baby Kason.

This fall she went on her first Pony ride….and she did great. She talked the entire time she was riding. We were visiting some YouthWorks friends in Marvell, AR and got to go to the Main Street Festival.

And finally, she got her first haircut from Aunt Rachel. She was starting to get a bit of a mullet in the back so she just took a little off. We used a cucumber as a decoy!

We are loving being back in Nashville! It’s been busy, but great. We are still working on the house, so we haven’t really taken many pictures, but we will soon. I will try to do better with updates and pictures for anyone that still reads this!

Summer has come and gone……

Sorry for our 2 month hiatus, it’s been a busy summer. Here’s what has happened, we sold our house, moved to Nashville, Traveled to visit lots of YouthWorks Sites. It’s been really busy, but a great summer. I’ll update more later, but here are some fun pictures from the summer.

Lilah’s cousins came to visit us in Birmingham before we moved. In the bottom picture you will see how Grant likes to show his little brother affection. Grant loves Lilah and Colby!

We went to Minneapolis for a few days. Lilah did great on the plane trip as usual.

We got to go on the lake at our friend Dave’s House.

And we got to go to a Twins Game. It was a little bit colder there then what we were used to in the south.

After Minneapolis, we went to St. Louis, Cairo, IL, Springfield, MO, and Booneville and Marvell, AR. We went to a Cardinals game when we were visiting the YouthWorks site in St. Louis. This was probably the hottest day that we have experienced, if you can’t tell by the beautiful picture below.

And our last stadium trip took us to a Braves game in Atlanta. Lilah will have been to 4 stadiums in the first year of her life (we are going to Cleveland next week).

So you can see that we have been busy the past few months. We are currently in Nashville staying at my parents house and looking for a house of our own. Now that things are settled, I’ll be able to update more regularly.

Thanks for hanging around through the 2 month hiatus:).
